We had the pleasure of being invited down to Market Harborough, a leafy town in Leicestershire for the wedding of Laura and Ciaran.
It was an amazing day as we were greeted with some sublime weather, not your usual September drizzle and cold climate.
I began filming at Laura's parent's house, James and Pauline. It was a busy afraid with around 20-25 people in the house which included close family, the five bridesmaids, four flower girls, hair and make up and extended family. It presented some great shooting opportunities as the house had amazing pockets of light and an amazing garden. I worked alongside photographer Sarah Salotti (https://sarahsalotti.co.uk) to prepare some of the detailed shots.
During the morning preparations I was presented with some great moments such as Laura opening her gifts from Ciaran as well as a great moment where James saw Laura in her dress for the very first time, which was quite emotional.
Whilst I was at the house, Keith was filming at a local hotel as Cieran and his groomsmen were getting ready before going outside for some pre wedding drinks and socialising.
After the morning preparations it was onto Harborough Community Church, set a few miles after from both locations. It was a lively affair as almost 200 guests joined the ceremony. Presented by paster Robert Leveritt, he basically said go where you want which was so refreshing as it allowed us to capture everything no naturally.
Laura was walked into the church by her father James, before meeting Ciaran at the aisle who was emotional as he seen his bride. The ceremony was full of life, energy and music with a live five piece band performing songs such as Amazing Grace and Lion and the Lamb. There were also a couple of readings being spoken before prayers were said.
After the ceremony, Ciaran whisked his new bride away to Keythorpe Manor, in a green Ferrari. Keythorpe Manor is a stunning marquee venue overlooking the leafy countryside and valley.
The guests sat down for their meal before James, Ciaran, his brother and Laura each give a speech which had humility, laughter and love scattered throughout.
Often at wedding you either get no one joining the couple on the dance floor or a small crowd however Laura and James' wedding party excelled with everyone tightly packing onto the dance floor to dance away as the live band played.
To end the evening there was a surprise in store as Laura's dad had secretly planned a fireworks display for the couple which they were overjoyed with.
